Songs for the new signing
A few knocking about on twitter already.
I know this site has too many oldies that don't join in with songs but for those interested.
Wout, Wout, let it all out. This is the one that we’re talking about. So come on, I’m talking to you, come on. ( if you’re too young for Tears for Fears it won’t mean a thing!)
Big Wout Weghorst Burnley's number 9. Na na na na na na na na na naaaa na na
A few lines would need to be put in there.
Song surely has to be Twist & Wout
Any more suggestions

Re: Songs for the new signing
It has to be kept simple for a football song;
He's big, He's Dutch
We love him very much
Wout Weghorst, Wout Weghorst
He's big, He's Dutch
We love him very much
Wout Weghorst, Wout Weghorst

All by himself, Wout’s gonna be all by himself, at Turf Moor.
To the tune of all by myself by Eric Carmen.

Watch Wout, Weghorst Wout (Beadle's About)
Will no doubt be something really original like:
We've got Weghorst
Big Wout Weghorst
Yawn, yawn, yawn....

Sean Dyche he had a dream
To stay in the Premier League
We had no money so we had to sell Chris Wood
Long ball from the back
Weghorst in attack
He’s 12 foot seven
We’re on our way back!

Re: Songs for the new signing
It’s a shame our fans are scared of trying new songs, and can’t come up with longer songs. It’s always short and (very) fast.

Wout was made for scoring
That's just what he'll do
One of these days
WOUT (emphasise) is going to score a-gainst you!

To Twist and Shout (The Beatles)
Well, shake it up, Burnley, now (Shake it up, Burnley)
Max and Wout (Max and Wout) [Wout pronounced Voot as far as I could tell]
C'mon c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, Burnley, now (Come on, Burnley)
We score when you shoot (score when you shoot)
repeat ad infinitum

Re: Songs for the new signing
Does new signing include signing a new contract (if he does)....?
Don't you forget about Mee
Better than Mings, Van Dijk and Tarkowski
Going to take you apart
He's at the back, captain of Burn-er-ley
La la la la la la etc
Simple Minds

Re: Songs for the new signing
I've just had a Burt Bacharach moment.
To the tune of My Coo CA Choo by Alvin Stardust.
Could all the driving glove wearers in the Bob lord place their gold rings over the top of their gloves, thank you.
Wout, Wout, we only got you
But we all know the things you can do
Score goals with your head or right boot
We really love our big man Wout.
If you don't know the tune, have a look on YouTube.
See you all on Saturday, can't wait to hear you blasting this out.

Re: Songs for the new signing
Ok, based on the fact that it’ll need to be very simple to be remembered/used, how about this (reference his previous club and obviously imposing stature) :
Waaaaaa Oooooooo
Werewolf of Burnley
Tune of Werewolf’s of London… I’ll get my coat

To Mambo Number 5
A little bit of Ben Mee at the back
A little bit of Cornet in attack
A little bit of Dwight running down the wing
When Wout scores you'll hear the Burnley sing
A little bit of Nick Pope finding touch
A little bit of Tarky cleaning up
A little bit of Westy with his brew
A little bit of Burnley we love you
I'll stop now, promise

Max and Wout twist it baby like the Motherwell fans at Ibrox would be class. I go in the CFS and don't take the marching powder, so could try and get it going, although I will have had some beers.
Wout Weghorst's on fire would be awesome if we could build some more words around it?!

V V pronounced Vay Vay followed by three claps, old-school style.

The Wout , the Wout, the Wout is on fire
Repeat.
To the tune of the roof is on fire, potential for a 2nd line, buy I'm not a lyrical genius.

Number 9 Vout is a big Dutch man
Fu####g get near him , if you think you can
cross the fu####g ball and he'll score a goal
