Simple song for Ben Mee

Post by CroxleyClaret » Sat Feb 12, 2022 11:33 pm

Okay chaps here we go 2,3,4......

The Great Pretender- The Platters or Freddie Mercury

Ben Mee is the Great Defender
Defending the Burnley goal
It’s plain to see
That our Ben Mee
Is the greatest defender of all

I’m here all week...

Have read both your lyric writing efforts. If indeed you ARE here all week, can you spend it doing something else?

Cheers.

Nite.

Sorry if I offended you in any way, was just trying to offer something a little different in our vocal offerings.

Night (nite) to you too.

Excellent song. Great effort.

Bobinho. Did your Mum not teach you ‘that if you cant say something nice, not to say anything at all’?

The world has enough negativity without adding to it.
Lets make this board a more welcoming space eh?

Oh come on ladies, it was purely tongue in cheek. Perhaps I should have included an emoji to make that clear…. No offence meant Croxley, it was meany to come across as sarcastically amusing.

If we want to make the world a better place, I’d suggest there are other ways and better ways to do it than stopping someone on the internet making a mildly sarcastic remark about another persons ‘songwriting’ efforts! (Is this the right time for me to apologise to James Blunt?)

By all means though, continue with getting upset about nothing on other people’s behalf, and show that by attempting to insult insult me in order to balance the scales. (I’m not insulted btw, by all means call me what you like, I’m not overly precious)

I look forward to hearing this belted out in the coke stand this afternoon.

UTC.
