Collins and Mee
Absolutely faultless.
Its easy to say we weren’t troubled much - they made it so. They blocked everything, were imperious in the air and their distribution was generally very good too.
Tarky has been outstanding for us, but Collins will fill those sizeable shoes very well. What a signing.

That is a decent premier league pairing and if relegated will be the strongest pairing in the league
Re: Collins and Mee
Who plays against Spurs do we think?
Re: Collins and Mee
Collins plays like he’s been in the game for a decade. He’s got a long future at this level and international ahead of him, that’s for sure.

Re: Collins and Mee
Collins is unbelievable for his age. What a player we have on our hands.
Re: Collins and Mee
I said on the match thread it's tough on tarks but if he's not staying we should stick with Collins great player for his age

Tarks HAS been great and no mistake, but I’m still in the “bench him” camp.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:53 pmAbsolutely faultless.

Collins is the future for us, Tarks is gone and that’s fair enough, he’s been decent for us but we know what we know and we should be reacting to it more favourably to the players who have signed and want to be part of this.

Absolutely stay as you are. Why would you change?

Re: Collins and Mee
We need Mee to sign a new contract and a left sided Collins ready to fill Mee’s boots.

Re: Collins and Mee
Collins will have a great future ahead of him and he couldn’t have a better central defender to learn from than Captain Marvel.

Re: Collins and Mee
People saying bench Tarky for being out of contract but Ben Mee will be as well.
I would have no problem with any partnership, but it has to be our best one, while we have a chance.

Re: Collins and Mee
Got to say Collins has played better than both his partners this season, very unlucky not to be ever present
Re: Collins and Mee
Imagine Collins tarky mee in a back 3. That said you can't fault what we have done in recent matches
Re: Collins and Mee
It’s very easy to see why Collins is topping the players ratings this season.
The scores he receives whenever he plays are quite something. Fully deserved of course.

Re: Collins and Mee
Collins could be one of the most consequential signings we’ve made. He’s 20 years old.

Re: Collins and Mee
I predict Collins will be our record sale when he eventually departs. I hasten to add I hope that’s not for many years!

Re: Collins and Mee
It would be nice to see how Collins fares vs Harry Kane on Wednesday. He can’t do much worse than Tarky in the past.

Re: Collins and Mee
Played awesome again , but Tarks has been immense in the last few games and I'd definitely put him back in against Kane .

Have been saying for a few weeks now id like to see Collins in the side as well as Tarky but it may need a change of system to be able to do that.

Re: Collins and Mee
Got to find a way to get Collins in the team. If not a back three, then maybe move Mee to left back?

Re: Collins and Mee
Mee is a Premier League centre back but was pretty much Championship standard as a left back. Also we have two two left backs who are better in that position.
