I think the Highway Code was scrapped years ago on some roads in Burnley.

On the roundabout just before the College, near The Range, the left lane taking you towards M65 always has people using it to go straight on. Once had a guy pull over and scream at me for being in the wrong lane then I pointed at the arrow. Stupid ******* ****.

The problem about travel usually means going abroad and many countries still have restrictions yet.

I've read somewhere that prices in Benidorm are going through the roof.

A week too late for me but never mind.
The locator form was ridiculous.

Yeah, it’s really worrying! We have our LFT’s booked for 8am the day before we fly to Florida in 3 weeks. Quite anxious trying to avoid the dreaded Rona when such an expensive holiday rests on that test, especially with our four year old at school :(

Just have to hope!

They say stuff like all travel rules have ended then you spend ages at the airport behind someone who hasn’t done the right forms. They should make it clear it’s rules for entry into England

Glad we’ve finally knocked this on the head. Might consider a foreign holiday now (to another country without restrictions - not booking anywhere that requires me to gamble on tests, etc).

I don't see why. If numbers were very low in the USA, I could understand them trying to keep people out. As it is, what's the point? If 20m people are already infected, what's a few more?

Claret and Jew - just interested, where are you getting your pre-flight COVID test done? I will be coming over from the states soon and flying back to the US on a Monday. Anywhere local I can get one on a Sunday?

Sat at Heathrow ready to fly to San Fran and had to do a antigen test yesterday as they require a test one day before (not 24 hours).

Had the test done at Randox in the Trafford Centre. Appointment was at 10am, result received at 10:25am.

Have family traveling out on April 1st, not seen my grandchildren or son/Daughter in law for just over 2 years, very excited here, talking with our son he was discussing all the forms and tests he needs, just to get on the flight but he's happy it won't be as bad going back.

This holiday was scheduled/postponed from Easter & summer 2020 & 2021, 4 times this flight/vacation was cancelled, hopefully this time they make it

Don't know if Sunday Test is available but I used these in December for a trip to Thailand and again in February on my return. They had a sight behing the Turf. Express Test. Does Saturday not work for you, is it not 72hours before your flight?

Travelled to Milan a few weeks ago. Used Randox for the PCR. If you're Burnley based - pick it up in The Mall, Blackburn and drop it off at Haslingden Health Centre.

Hi. There's a company at Terminal 2 Manchester Airport that do the one hour rapid test for 35 GBP. Randox they are called.

My son is at U of M in Ann Arbor, I spend a little bit of time in that neck of the woods.
I will be over there around the week after Easter to pick him up.
If you are there around the 22nd, could maybe have a beer with a fellow claret.

Hi mate,

I'll be back in England on that date unfortunately. I will be heading back to MI again though, I am in the process of trying to transfer my qualification to the US equivalent. It's going to take a while but something I want to do!

Do you live in MI?

Yeah. I live just outside of Grand Rapids.2 hours from Ann Arbor. Couple of fellow Clarets live close to Ann Arbor. I know there are a few more scattered around Michigan too.

Oh nice! If there's any way of putting me in touch with any Clarets close by when I'm there that might be interesting! Shame I'll be gone when you're in the area bud, but definitely will be coming back either way.
