I’m not saying he was wrong, just I imagine Pace may have questioned some of the team selections during recent defeats.

You’re slightly misrepresenting what I’ve said here. I haven’t said he’s a shite player, but I stand by my view that so far, his performances for us on the whole have been shite.

I think wing back may be a more accurate assessment of him as a player, than wide right attacker. Either way, I’m yet to see much evidence of him either being able to take on a man or put in a decent delivery.

I’ve not written him off, particularly if we go down, but he 100% deserved to be dropped.

I'd rather the players focussed on getting prepared for the West Ham game, yes I've no doubt many will be sad SD has been punted, but they are all highly paid professionals, and they owe the club a performance as well as the long suffering fans after some of their lacklustre displays this season.
