Pretty sure it was him who found Mahrez and Kante from relative obscurity. Get him in
Get him in as what?
Scout? Joint assistant manager or PE teacher?

If I were Everton I would take Dyche ASAP. If I were Burnley I would try to get Carrick who was unlucky at Man U and prob Phelan ( lives locally) with him. Sadly neither are Americans!!!!!
Wouldn't want the pair of them. Carrick as no experience and Phelan as lived in the comfort zone far to long and now to old

It’s a role he’s not held for a while.
And his time as Director of Football didn’t go well at Everton with responsibility for a chunk of their £400m spend under his time and very mixed results.
Not sure he’s the super scout that Mahrez and Kante would have you believe.

Depends what the role is. Sounds like Pace likes the idea of a DOF however he’s never replaced Rigg, if it’s simply a head scout then Walsh has a proven record.

No matter what these owners do, it will never be enough for some.

Well done.
I don’t think many are questioning the actual sacking, nor the timing of it.
If it was down to the results as the club statement said, then why wait 5days after the Norwich game?

I must say that the most astonishing thing in today's press is just how little there is about Friday's events and what led to them
Yes. Its odd that no-one hasmentioned the 'real' reason for Dyches dismissal. Results??? If thats the case he should have gone immediately after the Norwich defeat, not a week later.

But many are!
Perhaps the wait was to remove emotions from the situation and to discuss with the various parties - investors etc..

Yes you are right. I have just been sent a message in which it states that he (SD) and Big Dunc went out on the 'lash' and ended up getting arrested after causeing a fracas. I mean.....

I heard of a fist fight with a Burnley player
Hopefully not Bardsley.
I’m not sure even Dyche could take Bardsley out.

I think everyone in every WA group yesterday wished they were out on this night out with Dyche and Big Dunc.

I'd heard Jordan Pickford was involved too.. he threw a punch but was half a yard short of its target

Someone asked Sky Bet and Paddy Power to quote odds for Company. Looks like they added him to keep the potential punter happy

Bookies often shorten odds dramatically to create interest in their markets.
It gets people talking and betting.
