Re: Palace v Leeds
Trivia question: which county's professional football teams have all, at some point, been relegated to non-league football? Obviously Lincolnshire: Lincoln [twice], Boston [demoted two divisions, then demoted a further divison the following year], Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

Re: Palace v Leeds
Plymouth Argyle have never been out of the league. Although Plymouth and Torquay are in separate unitary councils, they are clearly in historic Devon (as per Scunthorpe and Grimsby with Lincs)

Re: Palace v Leeds
I really don't know how Ayling gets away with it. Game after game he kicks lumps out of people, commits cynical and professional fouls yet last knight the ridiculously lenient and weak ref let him stay on the pitch. Disappointing that Leeds got a point but I don't think it will enough in the end. If we win at the weekend (on paper I think we now should) then Leeds are in big trouble. The run in for them is harder than ours and we have a significantly better goal difference. If we beat Watford and Leeds lose at Man City (I think they will get tanked) we will be above them on goal difference then we should finish above them at the end of the season.

Staffordshire as well. Stoke, Port Vale, and Burton have all had time out of the league.Quicknick wrote: ↑Tue Apr 26, 2022 3:47 amTrivia question: which county's professional football teams have all, at some point, been relegated to non-league football?
