Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
Favourite shirt has been done to death many times, but what is your favourite shirt sponsor that we’ve had? Try to envisage a blank canvas behind the logo, don’t be swayed by how beautiful the shirt itself was (or wasn’t?).
Endsleigh was a classic in my opinion. It wasn’t scrawled all over the shirt, very centred, simple and looked classy. I liked how the lettering was coloured differently depending on the shirt too (generally white, but also found in red on the yellow and black away shirt, and then in claret on a few others).

P3 for me just due to my age and memories of the club at the time, same with Endsleigh.

As said, Endsleigh.
It looked great on our shirt when they sponsored the football leagues as well.

Simple font, nothing fancy
I think it was the last “embossed felt” sponsor we had them printed on

Laba 360 was discrete, yet eye catching. And it was great to have a household name on the front of our shirt.

Umbro in late 70s. Instead of being sprawled across the middle of the shirt it was just a small logo on the right breast mirroring the Burnley crest on the left breast

Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
Endsleigh shirts were the best sponsors. Nice, clean logo, no thrills.
Also they were not precious about their brand colours, that logo appeared on shirts of all styles, and the colour of the text came in what fitted the design.

Anything without that terrible Chinese crap
Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
The blue 'Cooke' logo looked decent enough on that amazing 09/10 shirt.
Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
I think it all depends on your vintage and the memories that are evoked by such things. Mine is POCO simply because it was on the shirts when I first walked onto the Beehole End with my Dad and fell in love with the Clarets on a Tuesday evening in 1983.

Agree POCO for the same reason as Bobino. But I never bought house because they were on the Burnley shirt… I had car insurance with Endsleigh for nearly 20 years when they did.

But personally Endsleigh, simple font and not mega intrusive.

The white Endsligh away shirt in the late 80's was top drawer.
Button down collar with Claret & Blue trim. Sponsored with a felt Claret logo.

Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
Can't find a thread I saw about SpreadEx and Umbro so I'll ask here - anyone any knowledge on next season?
Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
Definitely Umbro next season as kit supplier - I think they signed a four year extension to their deal.
I maybe wrong but think SpreadEx is a stop gap for this year and others were being pursued.

It's Adidas next season
Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
Is it? Must have been a change then as the club announced an extension with Umbro upon the launch of this seasons home kit.

Re: Favourite Burnley Shirt Sponsor
I dunno where this is from but I don't think it's legit? If it were to be Adidas I don't think it'd be the trefoil logo.
