if Everton don't take any points tonight, they wont beat Arsenal away which means we'll need 1 win from these 2 games to survive.
Or two draws, in that scenario.

I’m not necessarily promoting that strategy, but if we do draw tonight, it gives us two bites at the apple this weekend.

Correct.
And I reckon we're far more likely to get it tonight than against Newcastle.

We are losing the midfield battle bigtime. They are a yard quicker to everything. The ball not sticking at all with Barnes and Cornet. Defence coming under a lot of pressure.

More wasted opportunities. All they have to do is press us and we lose control of the ball

2-0 Palace at HT, that would be a fantastic result for us if they see it through 2nd half, however we also need to try and help ourselves.

Cornet needs a rocket up his backside at halftime.
This is not the time for passengers.

The ref isn’t brilliant, but we’ve been dreadful on the ball again.

I just wish someone would show a bit of composure.

I was laughing at the burnley fans cheering every favourable decision thinking this jovial tension is a bit like oldham 97, the quirks of the cauldron and all that, then the Everton half time score popped up and I laughed a bit more.

I really don’t like Villa’s keeper. His taking an age over kicks at our place wound me up then and tonight he’s claiming for a free kick each time he fails to catch the ball.

The same way Barnes didn’t get a red earlier. It could have been an accident.
