Monaco Grand Prix

Post by Milltown1882 » Sun May 29, 2022 2:08 pm

Delayed start due to heavy rain, race will start behind the safety car in about 10 minutes. This has the potential to be an outstanding race or absolute carnage.

Can’t see the point of any F1 race on a circuit where you can’t overtakes. Except of course for the 1 common denominator. Money !!!

Don't be ridiculous. When was the last time anybody was seriously injured at Monaco. Those that race at the TT couldn't get in a F1 car because their balls are too big.

Monaco is the worst “race” of the season. It’s just a parade.

Had it's ups and downs. Ferrari really are a joke with strategy and this has been going on for years!

I did fall asleep at one point for about 10 minutes when it calmed down before the end - I had been watching the tv for 3 hours at that point!

The sooner the Monaco pantomime is axed the better. The reason the drivers like it is because most of them live there.

It’s just a society weekend. The race is an incidental

Lewis Hamilton's form is a bit odd. For years we have been told it was little to do with the car and all about him, now he struggles to even compete against his team mate.

I don’t think anyone said it was little to do with the car. Just that for years he continuously outperformed his teammate and that generally, the best teams (Mercedes during that period) pick / want the best driver.

I think they should do at least 1 race per season in the same kitted car, no clue how but it would be quite fun to simply let the drivers race, surely that’s how you see who’s the most skilled drivers. I know people will say ‘that’s Nascar’ etc but I’m talking about F1, the best race car drivers, supposedly, in the world.
