Is Kompany actually coming I haven't seen any announcements?

Josh Brownhill has been one of our best performers last season

Really? Being Captain would destroy Brownhill even more than the Premier league did, there were so many games last season were he couldn't pass a ball. It was interesting that in the 1st game that Jackson and Mee were incharge at West Ham, Brownhill was dropped for Cork, and only got his place back when Westwood got injured.

Do we have a club captain separate to a team captain?

I think Lauren Bracewell is the club captain so we will definitely need a new captain for the mens team

Didn’t he only captain them for 17 games? Under Holden.

I honestly don’t think Brownhill will start for Kompany.

Collins makes the most sense. He’s hopefully here for the long term, if we are promoted he would definitely stay in the team. I can’t see any other player apart from pope (if he stays).

Brownhill will be captain - it’s already been spoken about and why he’s decided to stay.

He has suitors but has committed to another year with us to try and get us promoted again as captain and if we don’t go back up then he’s off.

Collins has played 60 games at club level in the first team at Stoke and Burnley, oh and he's 21 yrs old, still making mistakes and probably wouldn't command enough respect amongst his peers.

Brownhill - nearly 300 games at club level, has experience of being a Captain, 26 yrs old and not wet behind the ears, would have the respect of his peers.

You cannot say if Brownhill won't start for Kompany, that's just what you want to happen because you don't rate the guy one little bit.

Between Brownhill and Collins there's only one logical choice and it ain't the defender

Can see it being Cullen if Kompany gets him.

Don't see where the Cullen as captain suggestions are coming from. He captained Anderlecht in one game. In the 20/21 season.
