I'm sure this has been brought up, and apologies if it's a daft question, but what's in it for Weghorst to go on loan to Turkey?

If he's on, say, £60k* a week here reduced to £30k a week upon relegation, is the loaning club going to pay us the £30k and him £30k so he ends up fully paid? So we pay him nothing, we get £30k a week, he gets £60k a week. Is that the general gist of it?
