£2.5m for Cullen is an absolute bargain.
We need to move quick Leeds are sniffing around

Hopefully both him and Muric are done deals on Monday

Is he any good? I’ve never seen him play don’t think he’s a goal scoring midfielder at all-I trust your judgement

I can’t see why we need so many midfielders really
Err, we have 4 central midfielders, which is always the minimum requirement... Two of those are in the twilight of their careers and one of those CM's has a long-term injury layoff and another is constantly linked with a move away to the Premier League so I'm not sure why we keep seeing these comments about going for midfield players, especially when the trend has been for ages these days to use those types of players across the width of the park, with less emphasis on traditional style wingers... It's called building a squad... A flexible one too!

Phillips, Westwood, Cullen, Cork, Brownhill, Bastien is more than 4.

I think that we’ve got so used to having pretty much the same XI week on week out with limited use of subs that folk are over thinking the fact we will have multiple options.

If you consider 5 subs is an option as well then the more the merrier.

Cullen hasn't signed so that leaves 4 if you include proven players at this level or above... Anyone adding Phillips needs to give their head a wobble!

I’d forgotten about that. It’s looking like we will have one of the deeper squads in the league so hopefully we can take advantage of this in the sam way the big clubs do in the premier league.

Actually leaves 3 with your theory because Bastien isn't proven either.
If players are on the books and in the squad they should be included

Nixon says that we have cooled on O'Hare.
And adds that we’ve turned to Cullen. Totally different players and that just doesn’t make sense.

As has been alluded to on here, it's crazy that some players who've never played in the Prem can attract better fees than some who have Prem experience.

But there you go.

Think they've got a few more than that now, depending on the odds, I might have a few quid on them getting promotion.

They've a decent core of a team!

Hi, first post here from Australia.

Just wondering if there's been any rumours about the possibility of Aaron Mooy joining the club. He has just negotiated a release from his Chinese club, Do the Clarets have any need for a 6 or an 8?

He also needs regular football in prep for the World Cup, his time in China was disrupted by the Covid restrictions there.

Can't see that TBH athletic says we are hoping vinnie and him seeing the project convinces him to stay cant see the club wanting to ship him out. (Ah I see its his agent pushing it rather than the club apologies)

Let’s save the unlike Sean until he’s won remotely close to the same sort of volume of games eh? Points are much more important than the number of subs used!!
