Impressive from Norwich fans, it's one serious trip from East Anglia for a midweek game

That 14,858 figure was on FotMob before the game kicked off.

Excellent attendance for a midweek game over 18.000 clarets on is brilliant.

Norwich have a massive catchment area with a fan base stretching as far north as the Lincolnshire fens but still a decent turn out

For anyone wondering where the lower figure came from (despite the tweet)

Image

It's not the first time there's been a discrepancy between the website / social media / matchday programme

The website figure on this occasion is clearly wrong, just as the programme was for the Millwall game earlier in the season (that figure now appears to have been updated on the website - it was previously left blank)

Is 14,858 the ST sales number?

Does the 14,858 equate to season tickets sold I wonder? Otherwise where the figure come from?

Didn't see your post. Exactly that I would think.

Great attendance for a midweek October fixture on SKY, when the original game had been postponed

Norwich itself has a population more than twice that of Burnley and yet some of their fans are saying last night was a poor attendance!!! It was a good attendance and the fans were very vocal.

Not bad scheduling (assuming it's still half term down there) to get the chance for an away game for the kids. It seemed like there were loads in the crowd.

Different people run the website than the Twitter page. The website, like all club websites and a lot of apps you see reports on, will pick up the attendance automatically from the Press Association, who get far too many of these wrong than they should. It will then need editing later.

The Twitter page will have had the message directly from the ticket office I’d have thought.

Didn’t want to start a third attendance thread but pleased to see other clubs fans are turning out to see us. Saturdays attendance will have unbalanced the figures but I’ll keep my eye on it as the season progresses.
