I’ve said this before, and I knows this is done for a worthy cause but is disappointing that it’s a “closed shop” for those that can enter in winner these.

I’m sure that if they did it as a raffle at say £10 a ticket more people would enter and they would raise just as much as the bids with the winners choosing which shirts they want in order of tickets drawn

It is a fantastic idea, doesn’t need to be all the shirts… but I’d buy a few tickets if it was Ashley’s shirt in a lottery

I have Dean Marneys Number 8 shirt from the 2016 Crystal Palace game in our Office/Computer room (well OK its the box room )



I reckon you are spot on having a Raffle rather than "the highest bid" wins auction ... far more money would be raised

It’s probably too late now but I have suggested it previously .
Maybe somebody on the supporters group could raise it

2020 raised £6000 which at say 25 shirts is around £250 each which is out of most fans price range especially in the current climate.

Didn't this happen last year? I have a Bobby Thomas shirt in my drawer that I'm sure I got through a raffle.

Blackburn are doing the same. So far, the whole auction has the potential to raise £1.73p.

Didn’t think so. It’s always been an auction as far as I can recall

The only ones I can think what we’re done as a raffle were the shirts they wore for Alzheimer’s in the cup game against Rochdale last year

and the NHS ones from the covid season was a raffle at £5 an entry via eBay (I didn't win one)

Had a bit of a sour taste left when I entered the eBay raffle for some match shirts they did a while back …… never found out who won them and later found out a lad I know got given one of the shirts by a player signed after he did some work at the players house.

They were supposed to be a collectors item and unique but still players had them to give away at home after the raffle.

Players have always give tickets and shirts/memorabilia etc out in exchange for work doing.
Free hair cuts, car washes etc..

Players will take what they can from the club to use.

Ah yes, just had a look and it was for the Alzheimer's Society. That raffle raised £4,310.
