Aldi Christmas advert.

Post by Terrier » Fri Nov 18, 2022 5:41 pm

Looks a bit naughty.
Kevin the carrot slides out of the bedroom window on a zip wire and ends up in a very inappropriate position on the snowman.

I know what you mean T 🤣

But its called comedy and kids love it ... Childrens TV full of fart and bum jokes now ... not like in our day when the rudest thing was Lulu taking a dump on Blue Peter (thats Lulu the Elephant not Lulu the pop singist 🤭)

LIDl increased profits by four times in the last year. They haven't seemed to take advantage if inflation like some by whacking their prices up. Plus their model of business is very efficient.

Theo Albrecht, the Aldi founder, was kidnapped in the 1970's and was successfully ransomed for lots of millions of german marks. He then tried to file the ransom monies as a tax deductible business expense but was unsuccessful.

I was in a supermarket at the beginning of the week and they were playing Christmas pop pap over the PA system. Can you imagine working there? Poor bastards.

Christmas music should be banned from playing in shops until the middle of December IMHO. So depressing to hear Slade or Roy Wood banging on about Christmas in the middle of November.
