See what you mean. Bit of a dilemma that one.

Re: Today's Football 7/01
Yes,i agree, but some teams are benefitting from wrong decisions and progressing
through the tournament when others do not have that luxury.(if that's the correct word)
Prime example just been played out in Liverpool v Wolves.

Where was the offside there? Looked a fair goal to me

Re: Today's Football 7/01
I think they contrived a way to keep Liverpool in the competition there. Watched a few times and still can't see where the offside was. I was convinced that would be given after VAR.

Re: Today's Football 7/01
Think it was the bloke who took the corner. When it came back out to him for the 2nd cross he was offside.
Re: Today's Football 7/01
Could it be anything to do with Klopp whinging all week?
Re: Today's Football 7/01
That would explain it better than what the replays were showing!Boroclaret wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 9:45 pmThink it was the bloke who took the corner. When it came back out to him for the 2nd cross he was offside.

Re: Today's Football 7/01
The goal scorer was off when the first ball was played down the channel, but surely it’s a different phase of play after the defender clears?!
FA will lose City or Chelsea tomorrow - clearly don’t want to lose Liverpool as well…!

Blatant foul on Adama as well. Wolves being absolutely robbed here.

Liverpool can count themselves fortunate to still be in the cup. More than their fair share of refereeing decisions going their way.
Re: Today's Football 7/01
Only positive is there’s another fix for Klipperty to moan about.

Yes ironic that after all his whinging Liverpool now face a tricky replay.Somethingfishy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 9:54 pmWaiting now for the Klopp whine about it going to replay.
Funnily enough I don't see him moaning about the CL being extended in a season or two.

Re: Today's Football 7/01
Sam Surridge wasn’t exactly making a strong case for us signing him today either!

Re: Today's Football 7/01
Indeed on that showing we should be after Yates took both of his goals rally well. Getting your shot on target helps.
