If we stick to what we’re good at they will tire and we will take advantage.
We need to notch it up too.

Barnsey needs to get on his game every move breaking down as soon as he gets involved. Need him back on his recent form.

We are not sharp, but Luton's pressing is not giving us any time to control possession. We have gotten some pockets of space in their half but haven't been able to make the passes.

Dont like Gudmundsson outwide at all, we've been really poor so far, barely got our foot on the ball.

Yep, pitch + whistle happy ref + Luton’s press making it very difficult for us to play

We need Zaroury's pace. JBG and Barnes are too slow up front.

Twice the ref tells Doughty to retreat to take a throw-in. When he throws it in again he reverses the throw and gives it to us. Should happen more often.

The space is behind the full-backs, get Zaroury and Tella wide, like against Preston.

Tough half. Combination of the team selection (no width without Zaroury/Benson), driest pitch I’ve ever seen and Luton’s intense press. Defended well enough in the main aside from that one big chance.

Our passing is much better than theirs, even though it's lower than most games.

Happy to be level at the break, as expected Luton have made it difficult, however they'll struggle to maintain this press for 90 minutes, and we have plenty of options off the bench to trouble them as they tire.

That was very poor. Luton pressing making it a stop start game and another shite referee AGAIN. Need to up the ante in the 2nd half

Three games with teams that are similar. Watford, Luton and Millwall. We should be getting used to it now.

Missing Zaroury and it might not be a popular opinion on here but despite some of hos recent good play to many moves slow down or break down with Barnes and we are just not as fluid with him coming deep as we are with Jay.

Id have Zaroury for JBG and Obifemi for Barnes. That said Luton are executing their gameplan very well and one goal could definitely nick this

Slow. Poor ball control. No width. Not sure what position JBG is playing. Like a poor D2 game. Sunk to their level

Tella having one of those quiet games. He's had them before and turned it round.

Glad to get to the break all square. Not sure which changes I'd make but as things stand, Barnes and Tella could both be replaced. A risk when we don't really know what we've got with Obafemi and Foster (if he's on the bench). Expect Zaroury at some stage.

Thoughts?

This. Although I think we need Barnsey’s physicality for defending set pieces.
