that's a shame. I would rather beat them with 11 on the field, though if we don't buck up our ideas we might not beat 10!

Red is correct. Cullen is on his tiptoes, just about to leave the ground, and he kicks him just below his chin.
Rachel Brown is effing awful. She has got so much wrong.

Unbelievably harsh on the young lad there. Cullen definitely bought that foul, never a red

I kept turning the volume down every 10 minutes, to the point I can hardly hear anything. She's not far off Michael Owen as the worst co-commentating in the history of the game.

Didn't look to be near his head. I don't think they were happy the way Cullen suddenly got up and walked off after looking like he had been shot.

Really harsh. I'd be livid for Ashley Barnes to be sent off like that - the young lad knew he'd given a foul away and immediately apologised. Ref should have given himself a bit longer to think, he went to his pocket right away.

I am totally underwhelmed by Foster. He has to improve a lot to deserve a place in our team. Not picking on him but he doesn’t look good enough on or off the ball

I don’t think this is really the game for Obafemi AND Foster. I think we need a bit more 1 on 1 threat rather than straight up pace. I’d be looking to bring on Churlinov to be more direct and run at them.

ok, back to the game itself.... we're just not playing smart. They playing 532 and we're literally parked in their half 235 - in other words its a man-to-man mark-up. We need to expand the field of play backwards towards our own goal to create more space, and both Foster and Obafemi need to be dropping, a la Jayrod/Barnes to break the back five line

Awful decision. Rare that I feel bad when a player is sent off against Burnley, but that's one of the worse I've seen. He's backing out of the challenge and apologies immediately.

Harsh red in my view, however we now need to make the extra man count 2md half, all of the ball but we've not really tested their keeper enough, final ball is lacking in our usual quality.

TBF to Fleetwood they've made it tough but if we keep pushing they'll surely tire as the night wears on.

Give him time. He has looked lost, so has Obafemi, together they look even worse.
It shows the benefit of Barnes, knowing the system, knowing his team mates, but it takes time.

Anyone thinking that's not a red card basically knows bugger all about football in this century.

And I include the dimwits doing the commentary.

One thing - the player himself doesn't really seem to argue his case. When that happens it's often because he knows it's the correct decision. So I'll need to see more replays.

He grabbed his head as an instictive reaction to being caiught by his boot in his face. If something catches you unexpected a natural reaction is to crouch down and cover your head.

Its a fine balance between playing your strongest 11 and giving fringe players a chance. Dont think you could get an easier game for Twine, Odefami and Foster to show what they can do, but it does not all look connected when we get in the final third. Think VK will need to bring Tella and Barnes on sooner rather than later

With them going down to 10 men I don't think it has to be sooner rather than later. He can give it 15 minutes and see how we get on vs 10 men before making changes.
