I don’t want to push my luck with Prestwich - if I ask for that to happen, I’ll get ‘Well I might just as well drive you the full journey!’ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2023 11:19 amIf driving from this area, to avoid going into Bury, it might be better to use Whitefield or Prestwich for the tram.

Always the option of 592 to Tod then 590 from Tod to Rochdale then tram. Please bear in mind last 590 back to Halifax is 10.20 from Rochdale. There is a later bus but only goes to Tod.Trams run every 12 mins from Rochdale and no strike action is planned on Saturday.

I live in Salford Quays and the average price for an Uber to Burnley on a matchday is about £35, between four people that's about £8-9 each. Usually accepts a job within five or so minutes as well.
Re: The X43
I've just been quoted £36 from Manchester City Centre back to Padiham from Delta taxis. Contemplating pre booking to save the hassle of getting the x43 back.

Passed one after 12 on the way to Rawtenstall and it was virtually empty.

X43 queue not too bad. I think they may have put extra buses on. One has just left and they are filling up the next one
