Peacock-Farrell has had an absolute shocker at the Etihad again, unfortunately.
I’m not sure the score would be any different with Muric in goal.

The subs haven’t worked at all.

Douglas Adams wrote about this feeling in Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy. "Oh no, not again".

Wonder if they still want Kompany as manager now?

Not been 6 down for a while 😃

City have just stepped it up a few gears this second half

We've done nothing wrong, they've just been sensational
Look, they are an incredible team, there's no doubt about it, but we've been very poor second half compared to the first.

Cork has been quite a bit off the pace.
Cork has looked off it in his last few appearances...big ask today.

We have found one thing out the gulf in class and we only play them twice next season and a few additions and we should just about hold our own.

Man City are Man City, simple as that really. This shouldn’t be over analysed or be used as a basis for deciding who is and is not good enough for the level we’re going up to. You play these twice, no more no less (well, unless you’re Burnley of course where you’re guaranteed to go out of at least one cup to them too).

You’re off your tits if you’re using these as the yardstick for the gulf in class between the Premier League and the Championship.

Do we need to invest? Yes.

Will that investment make a significant difference against the likes of City? Probably not.

Come on - at least have some balance.

With hindsight perhaps we should have followed Fleetwood & Blackpool with their approach and played for a nil nil.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.

No shame in the score line, these have just put 7 past a champions league side.
Just a shame it was 2 at ht, belief went then and after the third understandably our head’s have gone.
Just illustrates the gap between the have’s and have not’s

It’ll be really interesting to see how Kompany approaches this sort of game next season. As much as it’s a learning curve for the players, I suspect it’s one for him too.
