Today's Football
Re: Today's Football
Would love us to overtake Leeds.
Re: Today's Football
Wonder if Palace will ask Roy to stay on next season if he keeps them up comfortably?

Hard to believe this score after the first 40 minutes of the game.
Re: Today's Football
Camera shows some of the Leeds fans leaving but not to worry there'll still be 398,000 there.

I've said it before, but Leeds' goalie is ****

If I was ever up in court I think I’d need to find a better defence than Leeds

Yes, needed a result at Forest last week, but if they win their games in hand they’ll be a point behind. Need Forest to drop points from their last three.
We certainly seem head and shoulders above everyone bar Forest.

Re: Today's Football
As much as I'd love Leeds to go down they've had a season where they are rubbish, until they drop into the bottom 3. As soon as they do they seem to come up with a result. Then they're crap again, until they drop into the bottom 3. Repeat.

Leeds fans leaving early.
Palace have blown them away 2nd half.
Good luck Jesse because you might just need it.

Re: Today's Football
Talk about "a game of two halves". DL dominant first half then completely useless second half. What happened in the dressing rooms at half time? Would be great to see CP get 7.

I detest VAR. There’s no way that decision should take so long. No lines were needed there. He’s a yard on.

Ouch 1-5
Re: Today's Football
Why does VAR even need to check this? Frustrates the hell out of me. Clearly onside without the need of any lines. Just get on with it.

Why did var take so long over that? Not even close to offside.

Only downside to promotion. Just hate the way it’s operated in the PL. Sucks the soul out of the game.

Re: Today's Football
We’ve seen a lot of big decision mistakes in our games this season but better that than these ridiculously long delays.agreenwood wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 3:44 pmOnly downside to promotion. Just hate the way it’s operated in the PL. Sucks the soul out of the game.
All you need to do when you score in the Championship is make sure there is no flag going up. So much better.
