Fire Brigade spokesman, Ivor Flood said: “We were alerted to two hazardous areas in front of two houses at approximately 9.45pm last night. As we cleared the flooded area outside the properties, we witnessed two quite elderly gents in the doorway, wearing Burnley FC shirts. They were howling with laughter. We then realised that the flood was caused by tears of laughter, following a last minute equaliser scored by Coventry City’s GOALKEEPER at Ewood Park!
