Coronation Day Fixtures
I hadn't realised there are quite a few Premier League fixtures still being played on Saturday, whilst all Championship fixtures have been moved to Monday. I am still irritated that I shall miss the last match of the season due to a pre booked holiday starting on the Monday, so why were the Championship fixtures moved ?

Re: Coronation Day Fixtures
It’s a strange one. I’d assumed all games were being moved from the Saturday so surprised to see half of the Premier League games being played.
Re: Coronation Day Fixtures
I thought Saturday would be completely blank for all sporting events, similar to when the Queen died.

Re: Coronation Day Fixtures
The major part of the Coronation pomp and ceremony takes part on the Saturday morning, Procession starts at 10.20am and Coronation at 11am.
I suspect that the decision will have been made with Sky coverage in mind. Sky have been covering the Championship all season and will be showing 1 game live which I believe is Millwall v Blackburn. The rest of the games will be covered from the studio with goals shown as they go in.
The day of the Queen’s funeral slightly different as it was intended as a day (period) of mourning.

Re: Coronation Day Fixtures
Could we see players take the knee during the match?

Re: Coronation Day Fixtures
They'd have been played at lunchtime on the saturday for telly so would have clashed. Pretty sure they played all the final football league games on different days o er the May Bank hol last year, think its only the championship that has moved.

I think the 4 Championship play off contenders are all playing away from home.
