Imo City need to go 442
Mainly so the full backs can push up
All congested in the central areas
Get 2 up top, big man little man
A mix of getting your full backs overlapping and some balls over the top will mix it up

There was only a ball width between the defender and post and that was the only place he could put it

Was going to include walker in my 442 post just above
City scored now but still could be vulnerable in this set up
I’d still go 442 and walker but for defensive reasons

£600k per week (that City don’t make) Haaland gets booked.

There’s a thread on here about Bury only just getting their ground back.

… romance of football and all that though

The “knee save” may have been lucky, but that one from the corner at the end was top drawer

Joleon Lescott, it's a bit cringeworthy. Parading around like some club legend. Not saying he wasn't a bad player but does anyone remember him being that immense for City?

And don't get me started on Jake Humphrey.

Grealish on the pitch can be an absolute pain in the arse ,but showing tonight that it’s not always about money,ok he’s earning a fortune ,but deep down he wanted to win.

I watched on CBS - Thierry Henri, Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher. Not watched CBS before but it was good. Not the usual Sky/BT drivel. Seemed like they were given freedom to say/do what they want.

Well done city. That will be Burnley in 2025!!
