Really enjoyed this short film, particularly watching Jimmy McIlroy and Jimmy Adamson training. Couple of questions.
1. Where does Alex Elder enter the ground for training? There is a row of houses opposite the entrance, but they're not the ones on Belvedere Road
2. Who is the "elder statesman" footballer?

He goes in basically close to where the Bob Lord turnstiles are now (the ones closest to the cricket field end). When it shows them training, they are inside the ground behind the Bee Hole end so basically in what is now the car park, leading round to the fanzone.

Think that's where the new(ish) sheltered housing on Harry Potts Way is, replacing those terraces.
As i remember, the Cricketers pub was round the corner from those terraces. ( Roughly opposite the old players entrance.)

Correct me if age has diminished my memory.

Just had another look at the film. The players entrance was under the Cricket Field Stand? Taken the picture from the film. Hope this is ok.

I think this gentleman is shown in the scene leaning against a fence when the footballers are training behind the Beehole End, referred to as an ex player. Sorry to show my ignorance, but who is he? Again picture taken from the film and hope that is ok.

The picture you’ve shown is where I said, basically behind where the Bob Lord turnstiles are now.
