Quality tshirts.

Post by Steve1956 » Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:31 pm

Anyone know of any quality tshirts, the quality of most tshirts these days is abysmal two washes and all they are fit for is dusting round the house,I'm not bothered about the price just want to purchase decent tshirts.

Try Trickett - Accy based, absolutely top notch gear. I've got t shirts from 2016 that are still going strong

I’ve recently bought a few pique polo shirts from Crew Clothing Company and the quality seems to be very good.

They are unrivalled as far as I'm concerned in terms of quality and style, especially for the price. Loads of locally made gear too (although the T's are made in Portugal).

And he's a Claret.

For trousers or jeans, HebTroCo from just over the border in Mytholmroyd are decent too.

Uniqlo. For staple items like t-shirts, trousers and jackets it's bang on.

Heard good things about Trickett too, although not bought anything yet.

Never had a Boss or Ralph Lauren t-shirt shrink, and we wash on 40C. Worth the extra expense because they last for years.

Community Clothing. Not the cheapest, t-shirts start at £20, but all garments are made in the UK, some in Lancashire and are high quality. Used to have a shop in Blackburn, not certain if it is still there. Or order on line. More information about the business ethos via the link.

Howies.

Quality.

Their Tshirts wear well, wash well, don't shrink or fade. Their merino base layers are also superb (a treat £)

There's always a few Trickett items on ebay mate. Had a few bits off there myself, if you don't mind second hand.

A local company would appreciate your support.

Born out of Scruples, Barrowford.

Very good quality, I'm pretty sure if you're local and spend enough he'll deliver it himself.

Under Armour and Footjoy - by a country mile. Either online or at golf course shops, such as Paul McEvoy's at Burnley Golf Club, Glen View.

Community clothing is Patrick Grant's thing. He's a top fella. They had a pop up at the Lowry a couple of weeks ago. Good kit.

Trickett stuff is good, the tees go quick though.

I wear Blake Mill shirts to the office - they're incredible.
They've also just brought out a line of T-shirts so might be worth a punt if they're owt like their "dress" shirts.

I think the Rohan shirts are good quality & don't crease as much as some other manufacturers, handy if you don't like ironing & stylish enough to don if you are in a rush to a business meeting.

For sheer durability Crew t shirts are tremendous . Give Fruit of the loom a miss though . Bought 3 of their white t shirts , took on hols and left them there they were that poor .
