Re: Next seasons kit
Don’t like the collar at all. Prefer White Shorts. Kids one looks awful. Last seasons was far better imo.
Re: Next seasons kit
I don't like collars on football shirts so I'll pin my hopes on the away shirts.
Re: Next seasons kit
Last seasons has disappeared from sale, it was £40 the other day.

Re: Next seasons kit
Yep, my first thought on seeing it was "Villa". Only normal when you combine the colours and the sponsor. I don't mind it overall but, then again, I haven't bought a Burnley shirt in at least a decade so I suppose it doesn't really matter what I think!
Re: Next seasons kit
Good call this, jedi!jedi_master wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 1:07 pmI personally loved this seasons kit, all three of them in fact, but I am referring specifically to the home shirt with this. Obviously it was done as an ‘anniversary tribute’ to the 1992 shirt, but it’s been such a huge success that I wonder if the club will seek to do something similar next season? It would be a shame (to me…) to return to a very basic claret and blue templated design next time out - I’d love them to take another risk with a retro throwback, or at least something out of the norm.
On these lines I wonder if anyone has a historical shirt that you’d like to see the club do a revision of? For me, it would be to try and do something that harks back to the 94 Play-Off final shirt, as it is the 30th anniversary of the 93/94 season after all (my first shirt too, actually). I always loved the patterning around the sleeves on it.

Re: Next seasons kit
Gambling sponsor doesn’t looks great but the sponsor on the junior shirt looks horrific
Re: Next seasons kit
Decent kit that.
Re: Next seasons kit
Apologies if already posted but are they in stock now.
It says pre order on the website but no release date but when you go to order, it says in stock.

Let's hope the away kit doesn't look like a Villa kit as well.
Re: Next seasons kit
A claret and blue shirt with a Burnley badge. Don’t see what all the fuss is about.

Re: Next seasons kit
It’s definitely the sponsor which makes it look like Villa’s.
Sort of proves that sponsorship does work.

Prefer white shorts,
Actually prefer the new one to last years, other than the sponsor. Never a fan of splatter designs.. and can take or leave the collar

Re: Next seasons kit
We copied off Villa about 100 years ago, I don't know how people expect it to be much different.

Wonder if we are going to widen our kit distribution network for example in the USA.

Don’t mind the shirt, but won’t be purchasing one.
But hate blue shorts. It’s not hard, claret & blue shirt, white shorts, simple!

The women's team will be glad of the blue shorts for sure. Are white shorts more important than comfort? Not for meRammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 12:56 pmDon’t mind the shirt, but won’t be purchasing one.

Re: Next seasons kit
I quite like it but then it’s more traditional than last season which means more my cup of tea. The only thing I don’t like is not having white shorts.arise_sir_charge wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 12:15 pmThe only reason it looks like a Villa kit anymore than any of our previous kits is because of the sponsor.
I don’t mind it.

Blue shorts always remind me of 79/80, although I know we’ve had them in more successful seasons since.

It's an awful looking kit made even worse by a sponsor that just completely clashes with everything. Looks like an accident.
The fonts, the colours, the positioning are all over the place. Such a shame after we made such major strides last year to re-build our image.
Greedy, short sighted management.

Amazing overreaction to a pretty bog standard looking Burnley kit.bfcwest wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 1:07 pmIt's an awful looking kit made even worse by a sponsor that just completely clashes with everything. Looks like an accident.

Re: Next seasons kit
Some absolutely nuts comments and complaining.
It’s a kit. It’s claret and blue. It’ll be worn by the players on match day. Nothing more to it.

Looks awful with the betting logo on but the club makes money on and i don't like the collar but if you want to buy it go ahead and do so by all means but not for me .
Re: Next seasons kit
I hope W8 paid a lot of money to get that abomination on our shirt. What a shame.

Re: Next seasons kit
And the blue used in the kit is a different blue to the badge, bugged me for a while that.bfcwest wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 1:07 pmIt's an awful looking kit made even worse by a sponsor that just completely clashes with everything. Looks like an accident.

Re: Next seasons kit
Retro and very plain after last seasons effort. Will divide opinion but not one for me, whuch is strange because the 2nd kit last season was my favourite and it was the plainest of the three. I'll just wait for the 2nd and 3rd kits.
Re: Next seasons kit
I've heard we will never wear white shorts again, after input from the women's team.
Re: Next seasons kit
I’m a fan of it. Nice change to have a collar and the sleeves and cuffs are smart looking too.
As I always say though, our home kit should have white shorts and socks although the ones selected do look nice and would be great worn as an alternative away from home.
The kids sponsor looks terrible. Would prefer it in white.

Anyone else not seeing a resemblance at all to the 93/94 kit other than the fact it has a collar?

Re: Next seasons kit
I find it very strange that fans can be so anti what is clearly traditional club colours. Not a big fan of the collar, and would prefer white shorts and hooped socks but it looks like a Burnley shirt (always my first fear) so gets the thumbs up over the Ribero design of last season for me, which I wasn’t keen on first time round.

Re: Next seasons kit
Then why are you commenting if it makes no difference what the kit looks like to you?
Some of us care what it looks like and care about the image of the club.
This is a thread about the new kit, expect comments and opinions about it!!

Because I’m seeing comments like “greedy short sighted management” which is absolutely ridiculous and needs calling out for the childish tripe it is, in my opinion.
