Ticketing issues last night
Did anyone have issues with their season card or tickets on the turnstiles last night?
I had upgraded my dad's ticket to an adult as he couldn't make the game last night. I was given a QR code which said "ticket cancelled" when scanned at the turnstiles. I was told to go and queue up at the ticket office.
There was a large queue at the ticket office, a lot of people in the queue were having issues with their season ticket cards scanning properly. We missed kickoff but I imagine a lot of people in the queue behind us will have missed quite a chunk of the first half.

Same problem at the Emirates right now, kick off pushed back as 35,000 fans unable to get into the stadium as the ticket readers aren’t scanning

We never had an issue when “flat cap Jimmy” was manning the turnstile

I had it a few times last season, 2nd time I lost my rag and demanded he let me through, he did but as soon as I walked in I realised I’d gone in the lower instead of the upperClaretSam92 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 12:13 pmDid anyone have issues with their season card or tickets on the turnstiles last night?

My ST was in Salisbury. I was in Stirling. Not a problem.could download ricket.
Tried it at some time after 5 o'clock clock. All good. Left it on phone.
Was parked and doing other stuff.
Time to walk from car park (by Tesco). Checked ticket...gone. Download again. Slow. Not recognised. Again and again. Suddenly there it was but 10 mins gone by. Legged it (loose form) to Longside Upper. Wouldn't scan. Saw man with hi viz. Wouldn't scan. "You are my 38th". Had to go to ticket office and join slow queue. Exact opposite my location.
Eventually got printed replacement. 1 down. 15 mins gone past kick off. Leg it all the way back.
All because their code wouldn't work.

I didn't actually know you could view your season ticket on the Burnley FC app. I wonder if it would have told me mine was showing cancelled before I went through the nonsense last night!

Re: Ticketing issues last night
Bought e-ticket, received QR via email, scanned at turnstile in BL.
No issue. 3rd or 4th time I've used the tickets with QR codes.

I had no end of problems with my season card last year but spotted as soon as this year's arrived the bar code was badly printed.
Ticket office sent a replacement by first class post that was clearly printed and worked a treat last night.
BTW does "had upgraded my dad's ticket to an adult as he couldn't make the game last night" mean that you can pass your season ticket to a family member, eg my son, pay a fee and then they can gain entry to the ground and watch the game from your seat?

I am pleased to report my Season Ticket had been successfully delivered to Salisbury. Ready for next match without QR code!

That's right yes. You can "upgrade" the ticket from concession to adult for £10-15 depending on the game, if you ring the ticket office.appleton wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 8:16 pmI had no end of problems with my season card last year but spotted as soon as this year's arrived the bar code was badly printed.
