Beale sacked

Post by ClaretTony » Sun Oct 01, 2023 8:39 pm

Michael Beale sacked as Rangers manager.

Have to say he’s got what he deserves after the way he treated QPR and their fans a year ago.

What happened at QPR and their fans, I don’t recall any of this. Can’t say I’ve heard of him.

Went to QPR as manager in summer 2022. Not there long when Wolves approached him but he turned them down and gave it large about being loyal to QPR. A couple of weeks later he was on his way to Rangers where he’d previously been Gerrard’s assistant.

Never took to him at all.

Never looks comfortable talking to the camera but still comes across as smug.

I blame the media for turning on him.

He was labelled by some as the brains behind Gerard ( the 1 trophy wonder )

People forget the time, and money given to Gerard and he still required his only rival to hit the rocks so he could sneak a Mickey Mouse league title.

The problem now is Rangers have little resources to actually improve and the fans demand instant success.

A job way too big for him.

He should have stayed at the Rangers he could cope with

Ex Claret Damian Matthew also got his DCM as he was one of Beale's backroom staff.

No shock really. Done nothing since he got the job. Lost the league already. Out of champions league after a pasting by PSV in qualifying.
