So you're happy with not have one single shot on target
I’m happy that we have improved on passing forward. We don’t have our best players fit and add them to the group would make a massive difference. If you look at how we have started giving away more dice Redmond and J B L went off speaks volumes

Lots of "progression play" ends with us giving the ball away and nearly conceding another.

I'm not so sure about that. Many of our squad have clearly been bought for the future, I'm sure we'll hold on to them.
Anyhow, we won't go down.
I haven't seen anything that says we'll stop up.

Literally just sat back and watched us do nothing with the ball and then countered.

Just keeping shape strolling around the pitch.

This is a worse performance than any of our recent ones in my opinion. This just shows how big the gulf is.

If you read this thread it’s the usual posters slamming the team. The fact this is probably the best progression play we have done all season, it’s not good enough because we are not Real Madrid.
I think your right, but then again, we havnt had a shot on goal...

I will add Connor Roberts is far worse than Vitinhio for me offers nothing. But I would love to see O’Shea at RB

Says it all about how Everton haven't pushed at all.

Serious question:

What does VK say to his players at half time this season? Lost count of the number of times we've come out looking like a car crash.

Team has no heart at all.

Very hard to feel any connection with this squad, too many going through the motions. You can accept us being **** (begrudgingly) but I just don’t get a feeling of them hurting like we are from this.

Polar opposite from last season.

Yep Dyche has probably never had an easier game to manage in his career.

Even when we won games 3-0 under Dyche we at least had to face an attack.

This is embarrassing

Kinda embarrassing when the most clichéd of Dyche signings goes and scores against you. The point of those signings is that they're banter donkeys, not footballers.

I know I’m saying nothing new here but again we see that we’re neither hard to beat nor a gung-ho attacking side. We don’t get bodies in the box, we’re reticent to cross, there seems to be a real lack of movement, there’s rarely an incisive pass, our wingers run down blind allies and either give it away or have to go back, and we don’t look like we’re trying to dominate possession like we did last season.

I am not sure at all what the game plan is. Can anyone with a tactical brain tell me what it is we’re at least attempting to do as I feel I’m missing something. There has to be something he’s attempting to do. (Serious question/answer)

I think we’d be pushing mid table if we kept the team from last year and added a bit of steel.

But no we decided to run before we could walk.

Horrific
