Not sure I haven't asked them, but I've yet to come across any other institution where you get free board, square meals, laundry service, gym membership, free haircuts & prioritised medical & dental care & fast gateways to counselling, I might have to edit this post before I'm done because no doubt there'll be plenty of other things I haven't thought about.

The other institution that has many of these things that you might have forgotten about is the family.

It depends on the situation whether you've got family, you hardly have freedom anyway if you have bills & mouths to feed or tied to a dead end job you despise but need to continue with. It can turn your life around for the better if you make most of the opportunities afforded, I wouldn't be opposed to going to prison I'd fancy a stint in there myself to be honest but I'm not the kind of person to commit a crime to get there.
