Re: International breaks x 4
For the first season I can remember I am starting to enjoy the break from the stress and misery.
Re: International breaks x 4
The international breaks have been the highlight of our season so far.

It'll be reight, we'll be relegated by the next one, so we'll all be able to take a deep breath and re set for next season.

Don't worry, in a couple of years time there'll be a 4 week break in September/October to get all the international football done and out of the way.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:14 pmAnother one in March .total nonsense

Roll on 14th of June I say. We stand a good chance again but I think we’re in the same side of the draw as France and can’t see us beating them

Re: International breaks x 4
At least the breaks make a good chance to see some non-league or lower league (Accrington) football.

Doesn’t matter what actual football fans think, it is all about what people in the far east and America want.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:40 pmI have to say I don't much care for international football.
If they can make more money by having more international games and more European games at the expense of domestic games then they will do that. Expect more international games in the future, the league cup to go and the premier league to go down to 18 or 16 teams. Maybe not soon, but over the decades it will go that way.
