Trafford made a good dozen errors before getting dropped and was a perpetual deer in headlights aside from one half.
But Muric has gone from 3 arguably MOTM performances in a row to 2 in a row with absolutely unforgivable howlers that have left me speechless. Just can't believe those two errors by him

Im not sure I'd do it myself but I can understand the argument to rotate Trafford back in after today. Muric probably got us points we wouldn't have got otherwise the other 3 but that's two game shattering errors in a row beyond any of Traffs mistakes.
Absolutely gutted. Can't see us winning now.

The reality is that Muric was dodgy last season, but then you had Tella, Benson, et al whose combined free scoring masked the goalkeeping issues.

Yeah, that coming back to pre season weeks before everybody else has really paid dividends this season hasn't it..we concede so many late goals and look shot in matches...another ridiculous decision Kompany hasn't even been challenged about..

He grew massively in the second half of the season and on his first three games since returning to the team looked imperious,his concentration issues looked sorted. Said earlier in the thread he seems the most confidence driven player I can remember (how he got subbed at HT one game last year), the howler at Everton seems to have taken away whatever confidence he had on his return. Was doing fine but nervous first half.
Just staggered by that. So disheartening.

I can and I can't

Obviously I'm a huge Muric fan. I think the team plays significantly better with him between the sticks but he's effectively cost us 4-6 points in consecutive weeks.

Last weeks is not as bad as this weeks by any stretch - Traff had one similar at Luton but it deflected wide.

Extrapolate it over the season I still believe we'd have more points on the board.
