Willie Irvine debut, if I remember correctly. Scored of course. Three days later at home to Birmingham he banged in a hat- trick. A new era dawned.

27 years ago today a 1-2 defeat at Bloomfield Road but some fantastic half time comedy provided by Blackpool's fan of the week. Still baffled that with the entire ground to choose from they decided to do the interview in front of the Burnley fans. Sure anyone who was there that day will remember this!
