That's a great appointment I think. He was never the right fit at Swansea, but did brilliant jobs at Cheltenham and Barnsley.

Great news. Should be a great appointment for them a level headed lad who has studied under some very good Burnley managers with differing methods. Much as I liked Duff from the start when players started turning to training up in Porsche’s, Lamborghinis and the like, Duff still turning up with his Ford Fiesta/Metro small family car said everything you need to know about him.

Hope his star once again rises and that Skippy is as delighted as I am.

At risk of raining on the Duff love-in, I'd still rate Jimmy McIlroy an even better signing than Michael Duff. Hope he does well at Huddersfield, though, because I've never had any objection to them as a club.
