There's no way anyone is telling Fury to retire while they can still make money out if him.

Re: Fury vs Usyk
If Fury was quiet and boring he wouldn’t have just made £80m for one fight. He has done a lot for mental health sufferers outside of the ring and by all accounts he’s well liked by the Morecambe locals. It’s a game and he’s played it very well. Those that hate him will pay to watch him lose. He’s been a top class British boxer and was part of a great unification fight.

Completely corrupt to have that score!Somethingfishy wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 12:38 amFor a moment I thought Fury had got it...Usyk though the correct winner. Don't know how that judge had Fury as 114-113..baffling

Re: Fury vs Usyk
About on par with my summary too. The Referee jumped in to give Fury a breather, nothing but wrong for me, either stop the bout or allow Usyk to try and finish it as Tyson hadn't touched down. I must admit that Fury was better than I expected but something in me says this was supposed to be a drawAlargeClaret wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 9:15 am9/10 refs would have stopped the fight in the 9th as Fury was clearly unfit to carry on . Though allowing a drawn out count and then the bell saved him . Can’t deny Fury was well up for this and looked good till the 8th , but ******* about in first 3 rounds cost him badly . You gotta give it to Usyk what a fighter

Don’t watch any boxing but was intrigued by this.
Maybe Fury shouldn’t have been goading him all the way through the early rounds and before the match?. Seemed to give Usyk fresh impetus after taking a battering himself.

Re: Fury vs Usyk
he's certainly played you very well.
i wonder what his opinions on homosexuality, the 'place' of the woman and abortion have actually done for the mental well being of anyone.
he is just another man-baby and i for one was over joyed to see him schooled by a man two and a half stone lighter than him.
Re: Fury vs Usyk
Who cares about his opinions on such small trivial matters. There’s nothing wrong with having them views anyway, most people aren’t fanatical extremist progressives.yTib wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 12:16 pmhe's certainly played you very well.

I think it’s fair to say that his act in boxing is just that, he’s playing up to get himself exposure and therefor sell more tickets /ppvs. The real Tyson Fury behind closed doors is a different man.
He was beaten fairly comfortably last night in the end as he didn’t have the gas tank to respond to Usyk flipping the script from R7 onwards. Prior to that be looked like he had Usyk hurt and ready to go. It was a good fight and not the stinker that could have played out with 2 technical fighters.
Re: Fury vs Usyk
According to the commentator as Tyson was being supported by the ropes/corner it was deemed that he had touched down.JohnMac wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 11:56 amAbout on par with my summary too. All absolutely correct, all of which turned me around into being a bit of a fan… then the post match interviews take place, with Fury once again showing his lack of class.Pearcey wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 10:56 amIf Fury was quiet and boring he wouldn’t have just made £80m for one fight.
