While driving to the gym this morning I commented to the Mrs on the poor parking of a car we passed (on its own driveway) it was quite skewed .
If only... Having just swapped our Fiat Panda for a Suzuki Vitara, I've discovered why everybody moans and complains about the size of public parking bays and the width of our driveway.

Good morning dullsters. Those of you in parts of the UK were treated to some thunderstorms last night . Bit weak in our neck of the woods. As you can see from the picture, not here to talk about the weather. Is there an age when you should stop wearing jeans? I prefer Wrangler.
38W 28L I look pretty hot in my jeans dont you think?. Retired. Rhubarb and custard.

I was able to locate this thread and bounce it. It's made my day.

I'd use emojis to show how pleased I am but it's such a struggle deciding which one.

My shoelace snapped yesterday, it was a cheap one. The one in the other shoe is still going strong,I bought them 10 months ago to compare. But and here is the really interesting bit I'd have to buy 3 lots of cheap laces before the dear lace could justify its price tag. My shoes have worn down in that period and will they last longer than the cheap laces x 3 ? I've replaced the cheap lace with the other cheap lace that I'd put in my drawer with the expensive lace. You can't mix them up as one lace ( the cheap one) is thinner.
The spare expensive lace could be used in an emergency as a tourniquet if a neighbour knocked on my door holding his severed hand after a hedge cutting mishap.

I picked up a piece of fluff I found on my bedroom carpet today. Thing is I've been pondering how it's got there and where it's come from, as it's an unusual piece of fluff and doesn't seem to belong to any item of clothing I own, as I've checked and I'm the only one in my bedroom. So after a few hours, I've put it back on the carpet in the hope I figure out where it's come from.

Is it just me, but I feel like lagers are being weakened. The other day I picked up a bottle of moretti unfiltered, I thought it was a stronger lager only to look at the bottle for it to say 4.8%. I picked up a normal moretti and it was 4.6%. I could have sworn moretti was 5%.

I know that fosters was 4% and is now 3.6% (I don’t drink it anyway) and Stella was 5.2% now down to 4.6%.

Is anyone else noticing this?

Yes I've noticed it as well
Ales are reducing their ABV also, it's all to do with taxing stronger alcohol, I've got a spreadsheet that I bring into supermarkets and do a weekly check. I do though have to wear various disguises as a number of them have banned me.

This could lead to interesting posts!

I am concerned that an expensive shoelace could be used as a tourniquet by an untrained person. Are you able to re-assure me?

I've read numerous books on the subject and practice weekly on a leg of lamb that we tend to have for Sunday dinner, if we aren't having lamb or perhaps going out for lunch I practice on a rolled up bath towel.

I don't think anything more could be added of you.

The bath towel idea dampened any interest. Thank you.

I’m sitting here bothered by the marking on your face.
Is it a tattoo or a birthmark?
btw: a wrangler man also and I’ll wear them until I die.

Sorry but I found this window display of multiple cleaning products in Cornwall strangely enticing

Apologies technology defeated me and didn’t seem to like my very exciting picture but accept that it was a very impressive display
