Champions Commemoration Medal
I have no idea where this has come from but just found it while doing some tidying.
There's an inscription on the back which reads: "To commemorate Football League Champions 1959/60. Limited Edition Run of 100 Medals."
This one is number 8.

I have one of those. They sold them a few years ago. Well, more than a few years ago

I’ve been told that you could select which number you wanted when you ordered it. I went for 8 because it was Jimmy Mac’s number. I just can’t ever remember anything about it.

Frank will be able to translate the motto when he gets the job (not for me)!

"Pretiumque et causa laboris" is the motto of the old Burnley County Borough Council, abolished in 1974 along with the other remaining county boroughs. The motto translates as "both the prize and the motive of labour".

I’ve had my Ninja Foodi over four years now. It’s had a lot of use.

It's a quote from Book IV of the Roman Poet Ovid's, " Metamorphoses" ( written in 8AD ), when he retells the classic Greek mythological tale of Perseus and Andromeda. Perseus was the son of the God Zeus, and rescues the beautiful Princess Andromeda from the clutches of a Sea monster.
