Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
Do we know if these guys will be ready for pre-season?
Not seen any updates from the club.

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
Do you honestly think the club is going to buck a trend and post information about them?

Was a cruciate wasn't it? Don't think we'll be seeing him until 2025.burnley007 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 11:47 amWhat's the latest on Ramsey?
I had hoped he might be getting closer...he'll be great in the Championship.

Can’t believe the club haven’t told us on 6th June if 3 players are going to be fit for pre season or not

Yeah, as could our other wingers Benson, Churlinov, Zaroury, Koleosho, Odobert, Tresor, Larsen and Costelloe.ArmchairDetective wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 11:58 amForgot about Redmond. Could be useful in the Championship.
Despite having assembled that embarrassment of riches Vincent Kompany played Obafemi, Ramsey, Fofana, Foster and Vitino there at various stages last season.
Absolutely inexplicable stuff.

I wonder how many people get phoned up from their work whilst on holiday to be asked a question that isn't important enough to be phoned up whilst on holiday?

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
I just wondered if they had been pictured training or anything, I wasn't expecting them to do a full interview detailing their current fitness every day!
Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
I think Ramsay is out until around the end of the year.burnley007 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 11:04 amDo we know if these guys will be ready for pre-season?

I seem to remember reading that we were hopeful of Koleosho returning by the end of the season. Obviously this didn't happen but there were videos of him training in the gym so hopefully not too far away.
Haven't got a clue about Redmond

Redmond half decent 5 yrs ago now I am not convinced always showed up for 10 mins at Saints then disappeared .A bit like Andros which didn't explain why he was signed in the first place

One of our weirdest signings, Redmond. And that was a pretty high bar last season.

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
Why was it a weird signing? At the time it made sense to sign him experience and a decent player the fact he was underused I found odd and then he got injured which nobody could helpdougcollins wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 10:12 pmOne of our weirdest signings, Redmond. He didn't fit the profile of buy young and sell on later. which I'm led to believe was the plan.JarrowClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 11:06 pmWhy was it a weird signing? Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
I’m convinced that Redmond was carrying an injury when we signed him. There’s no explanation for signing a player of his experience as we did, then not entertaining him at all. Then of course he ends up having surgery and the rest is history .
What we do with him going forward is anybody’s guess

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
But he did fit the profile of get an experienced and decent player for free who we can sell later for profit if needed. He was 28/29 when we signed him so not a veteran just a player coming into his prime so to me at least it seemed like a decent signing at the time. clearly it hasn’t worked out like that, I don’t know why, was he actually a Kompany signing? It is odd he wasn’t used more before his injury (if he was ever fully fit)boatshed bill wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 11:31 pmHe didn't fit the profile of buy young and sell on later. which I'm led to believe was the plan.

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
Only Burnley fans could criticise the signing of a player with nearly 400 top level appearances in their prime years on a free transfer.

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
Having these 3 back would be huge this season.
Surely there are going to be a few players leaving, but I can't see any of these 3 going due to their injuries.
Redmond could play as a no9.

Re: Koleosho, Ramsey & Redmond
Koleosho is the key player if those three if he recovers fully. But will he want to stay and play
