TBH I didn't realise he had so much experience managing and coaching.

That IMO, is a very good CV.

Let's hope he has come across well in interviews with Pace & gang. I would imagine him and Lamps would be the front runners. I'd be happy with either, but more excited about RVN. I have no interest in Parker getting the job though.

All of the main candidates have had an immediate "oh no, nit him!" effect but looking at them more closely they're not as bad as first assumed.

Lampard, Parker and RVN fall into this category. They've all got something going for them as well as a few cons against.

If there is any truth in that, and I'm sceptical, it would suggest that the manager is already in the door. Bearing in mind any new manager would want his 'own' men alongside him. Inherited coaches are different. If that was the case which, if any, of our candidates have links with Jensen.....

According to information to Expressen, the Dane is in the process of becoming a new assistant coach at Championship club Burnley, something that is expected to become official shortly.

Kalmar FF has had a very difficult spring season in the Allsvenskan. The team is second last in the Allsvenskan on ten recorded points and needs to reverse the negative trend.
On Monday morning, the local newspaper Barometern reported that Henrik Jensen is leaving Kalmar FF as the Dane was missing from today's training, which is instead led by Stefan Larsson.
Now Expressen can tell you the reason for that. Insider reports say Jensen is just details away from signing for Burnley in the Championship.

The parties must agree and the only thing left is to sign the contract. In Burnley, who fell out of the Premier League, Jensen is expected to become the new assistant coach.
If all goes well, the plan is for the club to make the whole thing public shortly. On Monday morning, Expressen tried to get in touch with Jensen's agent Martin Dahlin for a comment. Sports director Jörgen Pettersson has also been unreachable.

Somebody said to me in passing on Friday Jon Dahl Tommason was going to be the next manager. I laughed and said ha could you imagine the outrage at Rovers. They seemed to suggest it was him. I have no idea if they have any links to the club apart from being a season ticket holder and put it down to a joke.

I sincerely doubt that Pace would elect to appoint someone who certain 'elements' of our fanbase will reject outright due to history. Putting aside his previous club, which would be irrelevant to me, he has not done anywhere near enough in this league to justify getting a club like Burnley. That would be severely underwhelming considering the other options clearly interested.

Bo Henriksen

On 31 May 2021, Henriksen was named the new manager of Midtjylland, replacing Brian Priske, who led the team to the 2019–20 Danish Superliga title and had moved to a coaching position at Royal Antwerp.[16]

Henriksen has been released of his managerial duties at Midtjylland as of 28 July 2022, according to an official statement published on Twitter.[17] His tenure at Midtjylland included a second place in the league, only three points off winners Copenhagen and a Danish Cup win. They also competed in the Europa League group stage after losing to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League qualifying rounds.

On 10 October 2022, he was confirmed as the new head coach of FC Zürich.[18] He signed a contract until summer 2024 with the defending Swiss champions, who found themselves at the bottom of the league after ten games played and with only four points, at the time of his Henriksen's assignment.
