Looking at the stats - very similar to the 0-0 vs England.

England 73% possession and 91% pass, 4 shots on target.
Portugal 72% possession 87% pass, 3 shots on target.

Slovenia are supposed to have a Wonderkid (Football manger spiel granted) up front (Sesko), but he barely gets to touch the ball. Maybe one day he'll end up like Shearer or Kane, you know, wonderful goal scorers that won **** all.

Portugal have the same issues as England, talented squad held back by a striker and manager

Ronaldo is undoubtedly harming Portugal being a starter but I can't help but love watching him play. I mean, he's nearly bagged 900 carer goals, which is just insane.
That's because he's 63 🤣

Shades of Burnley v Liverpool under Sean Dyche watching Slovenia, a solid 4-4-2, massive work rate, low blocks etc ....

Don’t know what game people are watching but that was a stone wall penalty. I challenge anyone to stay on their feet when someone puts a leg across their them when they’re running at that speed! Magnificent save though.

Looked like he just ran straight into the defender’s leg to me. Although we’re not exactly blessed with replays with the European coverage.

You could say that about a lot of England’s managers for the last 40 yrs and we’ve still one 100% of nothing .Didn’t do a bad job at Wigan .

But you’re not allowed just to put your leg in the way of an attacker then claim he fell over your leg.
