Re: Scott Parker’s Claret n Blue Army
Sorry to say, but from what I’ve seen and heard during his dramatic tenure in Bruges the only thing I can say is good luck, we’ll be needing it.
A lot of waffle, but tactically inept and no good match with the squad we have.
Fulham and Bournemouth got promoted with teams that were far stronger than the rest. I’m not sure ours is or will be after the sales.
After more than 15 years on this board I’m signing out.
Wish you all the best and Up the clarets forever

Re: Scott Parker’s Claret n Blue Army
So let me get this straight, you've left this message board because we've signed Parker as our new head coach/manager, before he's even held a training session at the club yet?Belgianclaret wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:13 amSorry to say, but from what I’ve seen and heard during his dramatic tenure in Bruges the only thing I can say is good luck, we’ll be needing it.

The board and the club is so much more than the clubs temporary manager (they are all temporary).Belgianclaret wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:13 am

Now I understand why we have a 3 letter code, UTC. It’s our airport id, so people can announce their departures.

Re: Scott Parker’s Claret n Blue Army
Thanks Ian, and certainly Tony, JD and a lot of fellow board members.
As for the other KB warriors: good luck with your 2 seconds of fame with your smart comments
The club is indeed more than its manager, much more than myself, and more than this board.
I’ve been a claret since I was 6, which is now more than 50 years.
I’ll still be a claret when I die.

I follow Burnley FC ... Managers come and go, Players come and go, Owners come and go ... BUT THE FANS ARE HERE FOR LIFE.
Scott Parker wasn't my 1st choice by any means but ... He is our manager lets get behind him and the players.
