Best performance from a centre back that I saw from any Burnley player last season.
It's a low bar but O'Shea towards the end of the season put in a decent shift.

I wasn't saying there weren't other good performance. I just thought he was outstanding the day. He looked a class act.

For pete’s sake!

A few thousand of fully grown men picking on a 20yr old keeper on opening day of a new season?

Need to take a good long look at yourselves

If he’s our No.1 now or for the season why are we trying to unnerve our own keeper.

It’s absolutely senseless.

Doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the Burnley fans from TV.

There are clear boos when it goes back to trafford. I’ll admit, I’ve put 2+2 together and assumed its our fans as I cant see why Luton fans would have an agenda against Traffs.

It was the Luton fans booing Trafford. They didn't like his timewasting when they drew with us last season. Someone even made a montage of him wasting time and then being bundled over for their equaliser.

It was all over Twittler the Luton Fans were going to be booing Traff for last season ... We just assumed it was our lot ... look at comments by some pre match on the match thread to see why.

Posted this on the match thread but anybody that thinks that Trafford doesn’t want to be here needs to watch that fourth goal and see him sprint the length of the pitch to celebrate with everyone in front of the travelling fans

Luton fans booing Trafford for a VAR decision that actually went their way. Really struggle to buy into the whole Luton story and the rob Edward’s clamour. He talks about it being the youngest side he has named as Luton manager yet our side had a younger average age
