Both largely before my time, but was Clive Allen better than his Dad Les? The former I just about remember and seem to think he was pretty prolific?
I had an Uncle Clive Allen whose father was called Les, merely a coincidence, so it was an occasional point of discussion when I was about 9 in the mid ‘80’s!
