Both largely before my time, but was Clive Allen better than his Dad Les? The former I just about remember and seem to think he was pretty prolific?

I had an Uncle Clive Allen whose father was called Les, merely a coincidence, so it was an occasional point of discussion when I was about 9 in the mid ‘80’s!

Jason Withe wasn't a patch on his dad Peter, unfortunately for us Clarets!

He wouldn't have had any doubt about that.

Very promising sadly cut short by injury.

I always rated his son. Technically very good.

Imagine if he was good 🤣🤣
He might be, but we've not signed him for his footballing skills, we've signed him for Massengo's photography skills when Dad pops into town 🤣🤣
