Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
If flemming signs, we have enough goals in the side. Foster, flemming, Anthony, Sarmiento, brownhill, koleosho etc should get enough collectively.
Houtandji I'm sure can do better down the middle, Jay could still pop up with the odd important goal. Then we have Ramsey and redmond to come back in later in the season. It's not all that bad.
Foster needs to earn his corn this year, though. For all potential talk, he hasn't scored many goals. He'll need to get 10 plus this year at least. And I think he can.

I get that, however we have rebuilt the whole team and not sold a striker which I am sur you agree we didn’t rely on last time we were in the championship. We have not sold a striker (Amdouni was a 10 at best ) to replace?Jakubs Tash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:23 pmNegligence might be an extreme description but I agree with the sentiment.
Foster and Rodriguez have got form for missing large periods through fitness issues and Hountondji doesn’t look ready to be leading the line in a team at the top end of the championship.

So we have the lad having his photo taken in the number 46 shirt and potentially flemming from the helicopter to sign still

So I guess Flemming would be the Amdouni replacement? Plays centrally behind the striker?

Flemming was one I wanted a few windows back when he was linked to us. Can be used in multiple roles. Scores some good goals.

Foster needs a proper run of games - he will come good
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Burnley going into the second season in a row with one recognised left back at the club.

Don’t understand why people are saying that’s it.
A helicopter literally landed at the training ground an hour ago.
We will definitely make 1 more signing in my opinion.
And we still don’t know who the number 46 from this morning was.

I’m perfectly well thank you. Are you? Or would you like some specs?sound and vision wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:27 pmIt's not Murger but I think he was anticipating another forward thinking signing, unlike yourself. Are you OK? Serious question as you never post anything positive as far as can see, ever? BTW the three we have will be more than adequate if that's it. COYC!
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Humphreys will be our best left back this season, with Pires as first reserve.

TurfCast saying it’s Flemming now. Always good sources with them.

Just been on the Millwall Forum. They think they have some player coming in from Zagreb in a plane. They aren't even tracking it. I despair. Weak forum

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Flemming has also played as a striker and out wide even though he's mainly a no10
Kind of like twine but bigger and more physical - won't be costing much so don't mind it. Wasn't as good last season as his first but it was a poor Millwall side with a poor manager from Chelsea academy initially then Harris coming back to save them and seemed he'd outgrown the club according to by Millwall supporting friend
Not a bad one if it happens and won't be too expensive

I think we're decent in midfield, centre half and so-so outwide.
Attacking midfield is poor and our striker depth non-existent... Lets hope Foster is in a good place, motivated and stays fit all bloody season.

Attacking midfield is fine if Flemming signs.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Yeah true about Humphreys, still if you asked him where he wanted to play it would be Centre Half. He won't give us much going forward id imagine

From what I picked up from the Millwall forum, he is a proper grafter. All over and gets back to defend.Hedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:31 pmFlemming was one I wanted a few windows back when he was linked to us. Can be used in multiple roles. Scores some good goals.

Need a striker. I would take ings right now even though he is injury prone. We don't have enough up top!

What's happening with Benson?
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Attacking midfield poor with Flemming, Hannibal and Sarmiento??CoolClaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:36 pmI think we're decent in midfield, centre half and so-so outwide.

Flemming and Hannibal give us a determination the lads that have left sadly lacked. I think we've finished the window pretty well.

I’m hoping we’ve weeded out enough of the bad eggs, meaning anyone who was 50/50 can be influenced by more good eggs.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:41 pmFlemming and Hannibal give us a determination the lads that have left sadly lacked. I think we've finished the window pretty well.

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Flemming isn't confirmed yet is he?
Hannibal does his best work from a bit deeper, no? Can play there but not a creative attacking mid... Sarmiento lead to believe plays his best off the left, not a natural '10' / second striker.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Can't believe all the waffle about not signing a striker we didn't need any other than foster at Luton and hit 4 , 5 against Cardiff? And fans saying we are weaker than last time we were in this league is just nonsense, this bunch is much more experienced and stronger, get a grip.

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Don’t let it bother you mate. The curve of discontent is starting for those that like to kick the **** out of the club at any given opportunity. They will disappear until we are clear at the top or lose a match.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Hannibal is a pressing machine and signs from the other night suggests Parker will use him there a lot. And I think he is quite technical / creative. Flemming will add goals too (if he signs, you are right he’s not confirmed yet, but it was him landing on the heli at our training ground it seems). I forgot to add Brownhill who has 2 goals from 3 games.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:44 pmFlemming isn't confirmed yet is he?
