Collectors of Burnley memorabilia
Evening all,
Could anyone point me in the direction of the best place to get in touch with any collectors of Burnley memorabilia?
I've had a look on here and Google and can't see anything obvious.
Not just collectors of programmes (e.g Programme monthly) but shirts and other bits and pieces.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Best wishes,
DC.

I would suggest listing what you have on here probably with prices for individual items or the collection as a whole. Just for your general guidance modern programs say 1970’s and later don’t have much or any value Hope that helps

Pete Shirtcliffe runs the stall next to Turkish grill on a matchday and used to own Burnley memorabilia. He will know a lot of collectors if he can't help you.DumfriesClaret wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 10:07 pmEvening all,

He's on face book or can be found at Huntroyde Nurseries off the Padiham by pass. Or Google their telephone number and get in contact.

It depends on what you are looking to sell on who would be interested really. Different collectors have interest in some things but not others. What is it you are looking to sell and I may be able to point you in right direction. There's lots that will be mentioned that buy to sell rather than the genuine collectors I can help you withDumfriesClaret wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 10:07 pmEvening all,

Re: Collectors of Burnley memorabilia
I'm interested in any railway advertising of travel to football games at Burnley and to Burnley away games, either the smaller handbills or the larger posters.
I've about sixty handbills , ranging from Burnley V Bristol City 1902 through to Man Utd away 1971.
I'm happy to discuss swaps or buy anything I've not got or simply chat about what's out there

I have only ever really collected programmes but they are either going to have to go or I'm going to have to buy a much bigger house.bfc-njr-2017 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 8:34 amI am an avid collector of Burnley paraphernalia.. I stopped collecting programmes around 2010 when the design and content quality fell right off a cliff and never returned. Modern programmes are pretty abysmal now.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 9:42 amI have only ever really collected programmes but they are either going to have to go or I'm going to have to buy a much bigger house.
