Kindle help needed

Post by Colburn_Claret » Wed Sep 11, 2024 12:25 pm

I thought I'd seek the assistance of our techy fans to see if you can help me with my Kindle.
I'm on holiday in Turkey and the screen has frozen. Nothing works its just showing the page I was on when it stopped.
I've been online , and tried their suggestion of pressing the power button for 40 secs and release, but it hasn't worked.

I wondered if anyone had suffered the same issue, or knows of an effective way of fixing it.

TIA

It's happened with mine abroad and one forum I read suggested as you have done and if that doesn't work try to cool it down, I put mine in the fridge in our room and it sorted it again though I had to keep the power button pressed when I took it out of the fridge.

I'm stuck without my computer atm, but if all else fails I'll try that when I get home. Cheers
