Whether he is ill or previous issues have resurfaced (nothing to suggest this is the case) what do you mean by “get his act together”?

If he’s poorly, he’s poorly. Nothing to do with getting his act together.

If his mental health issues have resurfaced (hopefully not the case and again, nothing to suggest they have) are you still suggesting he should “get his act together” and if not, we should just “replace him!?

Get your act together, man up, etc. etc. are the sort of comments that demonstrate a very outdated attitude which does nothing to help those that might be suffering.

It’s just an unfortunate side effect of a lot of travel.

Same happened at my works. About 50% of those on flights developed covid after being away on holiday.

Not really when you are dealing with undisputable facts. Knowing what we know about his previous problem add in all the travelling he's recently undertaken it's not a massive leap to reasonably make a connection. We aren't dealing with a stranger we know nothing about.

I've met Lyle a couple of times.I would say his biggest enemy is himself.I had the same problem when I was a dancer,when you set the expectations of yourself impossibly high and of your don't achieve it(which you never can)you begin to feel inadequate..
Even if he was Haarland,he would still find fault.This is only the impression I got,I recognise this characteristic so well

There's very few folk that have insight into the club, or relationships with those connected to the club, and even when folk are offered a crumb of insider knowledge it's just a tiny whisper of a point in time that rarely has full context.

As I said on the Beyer thread, there's a mania about posters on this board sometimes and folk need to start managing their own emotions better or belting up, because making things that you've conjured up in your own head is no good and feeds into this relentless cycle of negativity.

It's really pathetic isn't it - couldn't agree any more with what you have said. You can also add on to your list the motivation for why we have offered new contracts to players being done to help players get their move away..

None of us know what is going on in reality but the way some talk on here really just shows where the level some of our fans are at times.

I presume that you've posted that to imply that aircraft air is safer than most.
Even if it is, the hanging around at airports is an extremely unpleasant and unhealthy environment, especially if / when you get held (like sardines) in those walk through tunnels that take you from the terminal onto the aircraft.
