Ticket exchange info
Ticket exchange info
For anyone struggling to work out how to put their ST onto the ticket exchange -
Season ticket holders who are unable to attend a fixture are able to return their ticket(s) and make them available to other fans. The exchange works that if the season ticket seat is resold, the season ticket holder will receive the value of their season ticket for that match as On Account credit, that can be used for future ticket purchases.
How do I use the Ticket Exchange?
Step 1: To access Ticket Exchange visit eticketing.co.uk/burnleyfc and click the log in button.
Step 2: Click on the head and shoulders icon in the top right-hand corner and click 'Manage Tickets'.
Step 3: The games which can be posted for sale will appear and you can select the game you wish to sell.
Step 4: Ensure the box in the top left corner is ticked and then look under the 'Ticket Actions' section and select 'Sell on Ticket Exchange'.
Step 5: Click 'Proceed To Payment'
Step 6: Accept the terms and conditions and then click 'Complete Purchase'.
Step 7: You will then see a confirmation screen that your ticket has been posted on the Ticket Exchange.

I did that for my husband's Rovers ticket but then got an email afterwards from ticket master saying it might not have been processed. Are we allowed to exchange Rovers tickets?

Haven't seen anything from the Club saying that you can't (But that doesn't mean a lot!).Roberts' Tash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 3:43 pmI did that for my husband's Rovers ticket but then got an email afterwards from ticket master saying it might not have been processed. I’ve put mine on but I still can’t work out how to sell
My 14 yo son’s. His ID number is also linked to my email, but there doesn’t seem to be the facility to access his account - my login ( which is my email address) automatically defaults to my account and I can’t change it.
Anyone else had this problem?

Exactly this. I used to manage mine and my husband's under my email. Now I can only access his, no idea how to access mine. Another thing for me to sort at the ticket office today.scouseclaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 5:03 pmI’ve put mine on but I still can’t work out how to sell

I’m also having this problem with a couple of my families. Went on to put my tickets on the exchange as I’m on holiday until Friday but can only list oneRoberts' Tash wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 9:33 amExactly this. Re: Ticket exchange info
The ticket office can sort this over the phone in 2 minutes, had this problem yesterday.
I’ve had various issues this week as I manage tickets for kids and elderly parents, but now it’s sorted I think this new system will be a lot better. Hopefully just teething problems.

Anyone got any tickets available for today? Happy to pick up outside the ground
Re: Ticket exchange info
Thanks Leisure for posting the details. It opened with my details showing Manage Tickets (next 4 games) but I can’t find how to do the same for my wife’s. I assume I’m the lead name. When I look at our season tickets details, what we’ve paid for etc on another tab her details are there but nothing on the exchange. We both use our one email address, could that be an issue?

To clarify, do people only get money returned if the ticket is later sold? (i.e. if not sold it's tough)

Re: Ticket exchange info
The problem is when you’ve done all that, you might, like I did twice, get an email immediately saying it hasn’t been processed properly and might not be listed. So when I checked my account it said it was listed. Strange. But when I see if I can buy my seat, it’s not there. So it’s never going to sell.

Re: Ticket exchange info
Just had an e-mail relating to the ticket exchange as below:
Also good news about the admin fee being removed too.
Did anyone else know that we could use the exchange in the CFS this season? and has anyone successfully listed and got the cash for it?
ta
I was still under the impression that the CFS ST holders couldn't use the ticket exchange and I was all out for having a moan about it because it would exclude us all from the "competition" to win a free season ticket. Then I tried to list my Season Ticket and it appears to let me do that now - I cancelled though as my daughter will be using it this weekend. Also good news about the admin fee being removed too.

Re: Ticket exchange info
I've just found out the same.
I can't make the Portsmouth game, went through the process and, subject to the seat being sold, I guess , no problem whatsoever.
I'm sure somebody will find something to grumble about this but fair does to the Ticket Office.

I tried the same towards the end of last season. You can list but no one can buy so you might still be eligible for the competition but you're ticket won't sellRick_Muller wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 11:18 amJust had an e-mail relating to the ticket exchange as below:

Not sure just how it works for re-selling CFS tickets, as they never feature as available in there on the seating plan??Rick_Muller wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 11:18 amJust had an e-mail relating to the ticket exchange as below:

Re: Ticket exchange info
I have been invited into hospitality this Saturday and therefore have 2
senior tickets for my grandson and son-in-law to use. My grandson is
fine to use one of the tickets but I need to upgrade the other for my
son-in-law.
Easier said than done - have navigated throughout the whole system
several times only to be thrown out at various, different points in the
process until I eventually got through to the end, ready to pay the 9 quid
difference and was greeted with "sorry, there has been an error please
try again later"
do they want the cash or not ? son in law will brazen it out and enter on
the senior ticket. Probably send the grandson through first so he cant be
left on his own at 8 years of age.
Shocking, bloody shocking. An hour of my time wasted that i'll never get back.

Re: Ticket exchange info
I had to change age category for my season tickets a few times last season, FunkyDrummer and just called the Ticket Office and all was done in 2 mins for a tenner (changing child's ST to adults). New QR code emailed through straight away and no fuss.
I know getting through to the TO can be a pain sometimes, but might be worth a try.

I have just tried to put 2 tickets for the Plymouth game onto the exchange but when I clicked manage tickets, the only option that came up was download ticket
Should the exchange of tickets for Plymouth be available at the moment

A simple transaction surely - not a bit of it.
"Very sorry but we can't sort it for you here, you have to do it online"
"But I've tried that for an hour and after several attempts I had to pack it in"
"Has your son-in law got a clarets number ?"
"I'm not sure but I tried to transfer it to an existing friends and family who has a clarets number and it still wouldn't work"
Admittedly, and to his credit, the guy tried his best to help me out within his constraints.
"Do you have your son in law's details and I'll fix him up with a claret's number ?"
He sorted that for me and I thought that we could now make some progress. Not a bit of it.
"I still can't sort it out here for you, you must do it online"
But I'm here now and ready to pay for the upgrade"
"Ah, you can't pay for it, he has to pay for it"
"But I'm upgrading MY season ticket so surely I should pay"
"No, we need to keep a trace of who has got the ticket"
"Surely you will know that because it's his clarets number that I've ascribed to the transaction"
"No, it doesn't work like that, apparently"
"Go on then, how does he pay for it ?" said I with not a little intrigue, not to say increased frustration.
"Well, you go online, allocate your son in law to your ticket from your friends and family, using his clarets number. We will then send him an email with instructions how to pay. Once he's paid we will send him a QR code to use at the turnstile"
At this point I had lost the will to live, had a bit of a laugh and a joke with the poor lad behind the counter, told him what I thought of the absolutely ridiculous system (to which he agreed and admitted they have to deal with many times a day, every day) and i left the office without having accomplished anything (other than a clarets number for my son in law) and in total dismay that such a simple proposal could be so involved and complicated.
Impass !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Ticket exchange info
Burnley FC and IT haven’t worked well together since the days of P3 Computers.
Just don’t expect anything workable, logical or easy and you won’t be disappointed. It will stay the same until they stop trying to do things on the cheap.
